WELCOME – Entries are now open
For the 27th Knowle Fun Run and Mini Runs:
- We have increased the number of places to 2000 & 300 for the Mini Run, but those limits and the 7 May deadline will be adhered to, whichever comes first – please enter without delay
- ENTRY FEES remain unchanged again this year
- TEAM TROPHIES: As last year the winners will be the aggregate time for teams of 4, all 4 to count. Teams with less than 4 entrants are not teams
- The Super Veterans category for runners aged 60 and over and one lap (2.5miles) alternative for JUNIOR runners continue. Juniors must decide whether they will run 1 or 2 laps before entering online
- There will be an extra Water station at the start of Longdon Road
- Road closures are expected to be a repeat of last year, with runners exiting the front of the school and running along Station Road to Knowle. These will be confirmed in the News items nearer the date
This year’s nominated charities are the Teenage Cancer Trust, Parkinson’s Disease Society and fly2help. As usual we shall be retaining 30% of the proceeds for local & Lions causes.

Notice anything different? He’s been running in the Fun Run since 1997 but after 13 years he has hung up his running shoes and retired. Now, the old Running Lion has a younger brother who we hope will have an extra zip in his step for the mascot mini-run
Good luck to all the runners – remember it’s not the winning but the taking part in Knowles’ biggest community event that counts
