30 years running for charity

CONGRATS to all of you who completed today’s Fun Run.

An extra incentive this year – a special commemorative mug for all runners completing the 5 mile run, provided by main sponsors Hunters

Once again we shall be changing as little as possible. There will be the usual

  • trophies and prizes for all categories,
  • 1 or 2 laps choice for Junior runners (ONLY),
  • Mini Runs with free t-shirts for those in years 1-4,
  • fancy dress competition,
  • 3 team trophies,
  • traffic-free streets and hopefully crowds cheering you on

For 2013 we intend to return the Start/Finish to Arden school playing fields with the Mini-Runs running a longer anti-clockwise from the New Balance arch than last year.

Why not get a team together? Help us promote this year’s great community fundraising Fun Run by printing off our poster and displaying one at your work and wherever you can.

We thank all the companies who have already signed up to sponsor this year’s Fun Run and to advertise in the programme. As usual we are delighted to confirm ‘all the costs of organising the event have been covered by corporate sponsors & programme advertisers, which means all runners entry fees, donations and sponsorship will go to the Fun Run charities’. There are a few opportunities still available where companies can offer to support our fantastic event, if you can help please get in touch now.

Good luck to all the runners – remember it’s not the winning but the taking part in Solihull’s biggest community event of its kind that counts.
