Fun Run wins Lions PR award
Posted June 9th, 2010Knowle and Dorridge Lions Club were astonished to be nominated and win the £1,000 award for public relations this year.
Unbeknown to the Lions our District Governor Lion Femi Onabolu nominated the Knowle Fun Run as the event which raises the profile of Lions highest in the Midlands region.
The funding was then approved and received from the Lions Clubs International Headquarters in Oakbrook near Chicago, U.S.A. Our Lions Club will use the monies to continue to raise the profile of Lions at all future events.
