Parkinson’s changes its name

On April 8th one of our nominated charities the Parkinson’s Disease Society changes its name to

•  The hopes and views of people affected by Parkinson’s have helped us clarify our vision for the future – to find a cure, and improve life for everyone affected by Parkinson’s.
• Every hour, someone in the UK is told they have Parkinson’s. One in 20 is under the age of 40, but awareness of Parkinson’s is low. We want to tell everyone that because we are here, no one has to face Parkinson’s alone. As the UK’s Parkinson’s support and research charity we’re leading the work to find a cure, and we’re closer than ever.
