Watch out for the Help for Heroes team which is made up of people in the TA or regular army, they are planning on doing it as a Combat Fitness Test so will be running (perhaps walking) in uniform with 25kg bergan and boots. Good luck to them.
Congratulations to Ulverley School for entering 3 Mini run, 2 Junior & an Adults team this year
Once again those keen runners from Hampton – the Good, the Bad & the Ugly have entered 13 teams
1-2-3 -
- its Lady Katherine Leveson school with 3 teams including 2 junior teams,
- 3 teams of mates who like Ale – Dregs of Ale, Lards of Ale & Yards of Ale
and
- its Widney Health running in force this year with 3 teams, including a Secondary team. The most from any one company - so far!
I guess it was only a question of time when a team would enter with the name – ‘You’re fired’. They are our first fancy dress team this year entering into the spirit of the day and running as Business men from the Apprentice
Bar-B-Que sponsors Walter Smith have entered 2 teams this year. It seems the WS Ladies team are looking to take on the WS Men who have won the team trophy they also sponsor no less than 4 times since they took over Lashford’s butchers in 2003. It’s about time they got their name on the trophy again
It took less than 48 hours from when we heard Karren had withdrawn before a team entered with the name of Wot No Karren!
